The beautiful flowers mixed with natural grasses are by Field Gate Flowers, a british flower grower and florist passionate about growing and working with scented, natural and seasonal flowers. I love their boat décor, floral crowns, buttonholes and bouquets. I love their ethos too, seasonal flowers grown locally for you and presented naturally with creative flair.
The work of art which is the cake was designed and made by Buttercup Tea and Cakes. Amazing hand painted detail and the sugar crafted water lily is just exquisite. Perfect interpretation of the Wind in the Willows wedding theme!
The wedding dress featured is by Claire Pettibone, my very favourite wedding dress designer and the flower girl dress by Nicki MacFarlane – both dreamy and perfect for this Wind in the Willows inspired theme. Both designers (amongst many other gorgeous choices) are stocked at Serendipity Brides, a bridal boutique heaven. They have just won the Perfect Wedding Award for best UK bridal retailer, very well deserved with their excellent range matched by excellent service. Spending time in the boutique always brings a smile to my face. If you are local take a look in the boutique window currently styled with our Wind in the Willows story including our fabulous hand-painted masks by one of my future brides Megan Ashwell.
A big thank-you to our gorgeous models for the day x
