As we welcome 2014 with new year celebrations I am happy to reflect on a fabulous twelve months. Thank-you to all my lovely clients for making my work as a photographer so enjoyable.
Our amazing summer was a delight for some fabulous family and childrens lifestyle photo-shoots and I have loved each and every wedding no matter the weather, which through the year has been rather more mixed! In the world of weddings, as well as meeting wonderful bride & grooms, highlights for me have included working with some fabulous wedding suppliers, getting published on national blogs, and featuring in Image Weddings magazine with a wartime inspired bridal shoot. I have even enjoyed an image in Vogue magazine with an article regarding Serendipity Brides, a local bridal boutique who I love to work with.
Personally it has also been very special to me to ‘second shoot’ for Kate Hopewell-Smith at a number of weddings over the past few months. You only need to take a look at Kate’s work at www.katehopewellsmith.com to understand why I feel so proud of this opportunity. Her talent is amazing and not to spare her blushes she is a gorgeous person with great personal and professional values too. Here is a peek at a few of my images from these weddings…………….
Special thanks to Kate and to Amy & Anthony, Lucy & Ed, Gailyn & Marc and Elspeth & Ben for the honour of being with you on your special days. A very Happy New Year to you all xx
So what’s happening in 2014? Lots of exciting stuff, but to begin I am starting with a new year resolution to keep my website more current. So look out over the coming days and weeks for updates to my galleries with more images from the above and other 2013 weddings along with new childrens and family imagery. I look forward to sharing it with you and in the meantime send everyone good wishes for the coming year.
And now it’s time for some fizz :)
